This is the story of how we created an employee culture and set of values, with a clear north star and regular engagement activities.
Then we went through a 3 year period of rapid change and maintained employee engagement throughout.
The low attrition and high engagement resulted in excellent business results and a really amazing work environment.
Nothing is perfect – we learned a lot on the journey – that was a key part of our success.

- Recognise that in a global organisation you can have a golden thread but the different regions need recognition
- Link this to business performance and data
- Encourage advocacy at all levels – from bottom to top
- Recognise and learn from things that don’t go to plan
