Richard is the Practice lead for Magnisol UKI and EMEA, a global SI partner for Dayforce. He had an interesting career path into HCM having worked in both the Military and UK Police service. Over 10 years ago Richard started his journey as an implementation consultant working on large Police and Military projects before moving into global payroll. He spent the last 6 years working for a multinational vendor of HCM software as a principal consultant, and for the last 2 years as manager of a global implementation team.
Richard considers himself an interpreter of sorts, able to digest the technical and make it fit for everyday customer conversations, and then translate requirements back to his team, or technical teams. Innovation and development are two of Richards favourite buzzwords, reaching under the bonnet of HCM software to understand what it can do for customers allowing them to do the work they are meant to do, rather than the HCM software ruling a customer’s business.
