What is a Commercial Pass and why would I need one?

At HR Technologies UK, we pride ourselves on providing our exhibitors with a high-value audience of senior HR & people professionals.

So, for our 2026 edition we're refining our audience criteria. We're ensuring those with a free visitor pass are the key decision-makers our exhibitors want to meet, who are actively looking for the latest products and solutions within workplace tech.

If you represent a vendor of HR tech solutions and would like to attend HR Technologies UK, you will now be required to purchase a Commercial Pass to the show for £199+VAT. This is to maintain the integrity and consistency of our free-to-attend audience - if you do work for a vendor company, but in an HR capacity, you will still qualify for a free pass.

This Commercial Pass can be purchased through the standard registration form. Simply fill out the form as directed and it will detect that you require a Commercial Pass.

What Happens After I Sign Up for the Show?

Once you are officially registered you will:

  • Receive a confirmation with your registration code and receipt.
  • Be the first to hear about programme and speaker updates.
  • Get exclusive news from our exhibitors.
  • Receive your delegate badge in the mail about three weeks before the show, if you have chosen to do so.

How Can I Make Changes to My Registration?

You can edit your registration details any time by emailing hrtechuk@closerstillmedia.com.

Please be aware that we send our tickets by mail prior to the show. You may edit your details until up until around a month before the show to receive your amended badge by mail. Alternatively, you can also amend your information onsite.

How Much Does it Cost to Attend?

HR Technologies UK is free to attend for all HR & People professionals; this includes all Keynote & Seminar Theatres, as well as additional access to the Learning Technologies exhibition.

If you are not an HR or People professional, and instead are representing a technology vendor in a sales or marketing capactity (and are not exhibiting at the show), you will be required to purchase a Commercial Pass for £199+VAT. This is to maintain the integrity and consistency of our free-to-attend audience - if you do work for a vendor company, but in an HR capacity, you will still qualify for a free pass.

When Will I Receive My Ticket?

Your ticket(s) will be sent about three weeks prior to the show via mail, if you selected this option during registration. If you signed up after this time, you can print your ticket onsite at the registration area using your registration code that you will have been emailed previously.

When Does the Show Open?

  • 09:00 to 17:00 on Wednesday, 29th April 2026 
  • 09:00 to 17:00 on Thursday, 30th April 2026

Registration is open from 08:30 each day. Be sure to arrive promptly to ensure an early start to the event.

What's the Best Way to Get to the Venue?

Virtually all roads lead to HR Technologies UK, whether you're travelling by train, plane, or car. We recommend getting the Elizabeth Line on the London Underground to Custom House for Excel for the most efficient route.

Do I Need a VISA to Attend the Show if I'm Not from the UK?

Are Exhibitors Collecting Any Personal Data?

All our attendee badges are encoded with your name, address, phone, organisation, and e-mail address (if applicable). Exhibitors obtain this information only if they scan your badge in the exhibition. If you do not wish to share your information, please do not have your badge scanned.

Our sessions aren't restricted and are available to everyone. Please be aware that, therefore, seats aren't guaranteed.

Is There Any WiFi Available?

Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the Excel London for light web surfing. We do advise, however, downloading any large files before arriving at the event.

Is There Childcare Available?

Unfortunately, day care is not available at HR Technologies UK, however the Excel London offers a nursery for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Find out more here.

Is it Possible to Smoke at the Venue?

Smoking including e-cigarettes is not permitted within the Excel London.
